Being the first day of the trek, you trek towards Chere Chaur along with your guide. The trail ascends alongside Jugad River and passes through ancient monasteries, temple, and scattered settlements. The trail also reaches Khalanga Bazaar, a small marketplace for the nearby villages, and continues on the isolated path to Chere Chaur. Overnight in Chere Chaur.

Explore the village and get to learn about the history and present of Jumla from the locals. Overnight in Sinja.

Walking alongside water streams like Sinja River, Ghhate River, and Hima River, you trek from Sinja to Ghorosingha crossing the Laha village. It is a short uphill trail to Ghorosingha where you get to see the ancient grinding mills run by water streams. Walking past several villages, you reach the edge of Rara Lake in Ghorosingha where you will spend the night at a camping site.

Today, you start trekking early in the morning following a steep trail uphill to reach the enthralling Rara Lake. From Chuchemara Danda, you will have a panoramic view of the Himalayas, the enticing countryside landscape, the huge Rara Lake, and the lush green vegetation of Rara National Park. It is an easy ascent from Murma to reach the pristine Rara Lake. Overnight at Rara Lake.

You move forward to Bumra from Pina village passing the Ghurchi-Lagna Pass (3,450m) decorated with Buddhist prayer flags. Ghurchi-Lagna Pass is the highest altitude of our trek looking over green meadows and snowy peaks. You continue the descent to reach Bumra where you will be staying for the night.

It’s the final day of the trek as you trek from Bumra back to Jumla. The downhill trail passes through two suspension bridges to reach a hot spring where you can take a dip to ease your sore muscles. Without wasting much time there, you then cross the Danphe Lagna Pass (3691m) and continue walking through the rhododendron and oak forests. You reach Chere Chaur and retrace your way to Jumla.
